Ten Pin bowling game for 1 player against the computer or 2 human players. Realistic sounds and graphics makes this one of our most popular downloads. You can even spin the bowling ball if you wish to get that perfect STRIKE. Correct scoring keeps tabs on who is in the lead whether you play against your friend or play on your own against the computer. You can put out the bumpers on the sides, if you are new to bowling and don't want to keep ending up in the gulley. You can control the speed or power of your bowl as well as finger tip control over the direction. It's a fast, fun game that anyone can play. Includes uninstall facility. Compressed file size - 782 KB.

How To Play
First choose either the One Player Against The Computer or the Two Player button to start. On the next screen each player will
be prompted by the TV screen in the top right and text in the bottom left, to click the Bowl button at the bottom of the screen to bowl a ball, except in the One Player Against The Computer game, where the Computer will take it's go automatically. Before clicking Bowl, a bowling ball will appear, moving from side to side, so that each
player must use their skill and judgement to bowl the
ball at just the right position. To bowl the ball you can also press the Shift key on your keyboard. To give the ball some Spin click the buttons either side of the Bowl button or press the Right or Left arrow keys on your keyboard, depending on which direction you want to spin the ball, just after clicking Bowl or pressing Shift. How long you click the buttons or press the arrow keys determines the extent of the spin. You are only able to spin the ball for a short time after clicking Bowl or pressing shift i.e. it won't work near the pins.
Typing Q will quit the game or choose Quit from the top menu or the cross in the right hand corner. Clicking the Restart Game button or pressing R on your keyboard will restart a game. Clicking the Next Game button or typing N when a game is finished will take you onto the Next game. The running totals of games won and lost is kept at the bottom of the score board.
Bowling Ball Speed
You can adjust the speed of the bowling ball by clicking the up and down arrows on the right hand side of the screen. This will cause a green speed bar to rise or fall above them. The closer the bar gets to the top, the faster the bowl will travel. The bowl also becomes more difficult to control at high speed. If you move the bar down to the lower speeds, bumpers are automatically produced for beginner players. You can also add bumpers by clicking the Bumpers On button. This will be replaced by a Bumpers Off button which you can click to remove them. The speed position will be kept for each bowl until altered.
Scoring
I have tried to re-create the scoring of a ten pin bowling game as closely as possible i.e. if you have a Spare (all ten pins knocked down in two goes) then as a bonus to the ten scored you add the value of your next throw. If all ten pins are knocked down in your first of two throws, this is a Strike and as a bonus to the ten scored, the value of your next two throws is added. This is why your score is not shown until the next throw/s are taken. When you reach the tenth frame and a Strike or a Spare is scored then you receive an extra go. Although I have spent many hours testing the scores for accuracy, I apologise in advance if you find they are not calculated correctly. If you find an error has been made then please email your scores to me, so that I can try to rectify any bug in future revisions.
